I agree dave, and we can start with Lillian. I used to like her, as she reminded me of a disreputable Aunt I used to have many years ago. She committed some sin during the blackout for which the rest of her family never fully forgave her. I never knew exactly what it was that she supposed to have done, as every time I brought up the subject as a boy, I got kicked under the dinner table, but there were mutterings of a GI.

Liilian is behaving in an entirely ridiculous way over the death of the Ghastly Paul, who seemed to be a Jeckle and Hyde character. She never really took it seriously but suddenly its taken on the appearances of being worse then the death of Elvis. Matt is being terribly cruel to her though, so that should be punishment enough I suppose.

Another one heading for a slap is Clarrie. She appears to have lost what little of her senses that she ever had over this bloody flower arranging nonsense.

Emma is definitely her mother's daughter.
The Lillian, Paul plot took me by surprise when they killed him off, I did wonder if it was to do with the new director.
As for Clarrie, she is acting a bit out of character but I suspect it'll all turn out for the best.

Been a bit out of touch because of baby-sitting duties for a month! Does Matt know about Paul and Lillian and how did he find out, if he does know? So agree about Emma needing a slap, she portrays herself as a victim yet she was the one who caused so much bother.

Mat sussed onto Paul and Lillian after a comment from Daryl (who is splitting up with his missus after the dog fighting incident). He then sent out a chap to 'put the frighteners' on Paul, who then turned up, dead, from a heart attack in a hotel in South Wales.
Mat has been milking it ever since and is currently off on a holiday in Istanbul with Lillian.
Jolene has been a big support for Lillian.
Oh, and they've sold the herd at Tony and Pat's.

I should point out that Mat was initially worried about Paul's death but, there is no obvious connection.
