In the house, not in sight of the car, hold remote car keys to head, press unlock and the car will open. i have done this and find it bizarre.

I tried this, it does work, Jeremy Clarkson did it Top Gear as well, it worked then too.

I don't see anything unusual in this, I have come out of supermarket & pressed remote key to find where I had left the car.
