We bought one a couple of months ago, and it's done about 100 miles.

I hurt my back on it, and it's just sitting there. It weighs a ton.

Anyone know if say, Age Concern would collect it?

BHS (British Heart Foundation) would collect it from round here.
... or do you have a local facebook sales page like we do, or a Freecycle system?
I don't see why not they'll take just about any thing if they think they can turn a profit on it.
Most charity shops would accept it but I've seen them in the British Heart Foundation specialist Furniture & Electrical shops which, due to the nature of what they sell (such as 3 piece suites), have extremely good arrangements for the collection of items.

Most of the big charities have websites - they should give you the information that you need. Or maybe a smaller local charity?
IKf not and you can't sell it, put it on Freecycle or Freegle.
How do you do 100 miles on an exercise bike?

Thanks for the help. We don't have a BHF in the village, but I'll check the others out tomorrow.

We have Freegle, but I've donated stuff, and think it may have gone to dealers.

Hopkirk - the miles are virtual, but the pain is real....
I always knew exercise was bad for you.
