thanks Eccles for your reply there were so any typpos on my half = anyway reading on down from your like - would be saying the Sandater could owe me love money I will get friend to make a phone call to see what the is happening. cos my friends said Sand - gave me my final payment to which I paid fully (ie final payment to clear off my mortgage and he they (Sand) are waiting on solicitor to take the rest of it. My friend said - SAn gave you the fully figure and you paid - I am sorry worried that I have to pay more. Connne
You won't have to pay more, you may be lucky and be on of the 30,000/270,000 who will be of the receiving end of a refund.

As an aside, why do you have a Solicitor involved in paying off your mortgage?
Question Author

we it as part and part of whey your mortgage is finised - it must go into the hands of a solicitor and they keep deed.

I have already canced SAn of this - and they actuallly sent another asking same.

Now CAP MARGIN - i AM LITTLE WORRIED AS THE MONEY BOX IS DEAD. tHANKS eccLES SORRRY UP AND DOWN WORDS.
I never involved a Solicitor when I paid off my mortgage, just wondered why you had involved one.

I can't follow the bit of your post re Cap Margin. You have nothing to worry about and may, just may, be in for a windfall. Contact Santander and they will determine if you are eligible.
You don't need a solicitor at all, conne - you can keep your deeds where you like once you have paid off the mortgage (although I must admit our solicitor has all our important documents for safekeeping).

all lenders are contacting people they may owe money to for PPI - you don't need to do anyting at this stage - they may give you some back relating to what you paid in the premium, not part of your loan.

Hopefully this types correct. Solicitor has to be involved - this is because we live in NI - friend echoes - she actually warned me about it me and that is coming to plan. Since Sandtander - have actaully wasnted new solicitors details.

So that. Thanks every one - my friend is going to ring them next week and see what (SAntander) say. Bye.
