Peppers With Crinkly Skin

when the skin of a pepper begins to go crinkly, does this mean its gone bad?

there is no mould or discolouration, just the skin has gone crinkly

just wondering if they're ok for a few more days, or should i bin them?

They will have lost some of their crunch, but are fine for cooking.

I'd cut it open to check but I'm pretty sure it's fine. Just peel a bit off if you aren't sure

Chuck them, they are soft and tasteless when they go like that.

I wouldn't waste them, they will be fine to cook with but not for a salad.

Fine to cook with - definitely don't waste them.

You could rough chop the pepper along with leeks, mushrooms, tomatoes, red onions, baby corn or any of your favourite vegetables, put them in a bag with a mixture of olive and sunflower oil, your choice of herbs, shake and then put them in a baking tray, slow roast and yummm. Well that's what I do!
