Yes I agree but isn't it a pity she didn't report him back in 1999, because he has had 14 years to molest and rape other women in all that time.

AOG, I apologise for criticising your writing style. It was petty of me.

However, I stand by my theory that you are blaming her for attacker's freedom after he raped her.

Thank you, apology accepted.

All I can say to that is, "you have come to an incorrect theory", I am in no way blaming her for her attackers freedom, only her choice of later words she made.

Once again it seems it is all dependant on the interpretation of words, and their effect on other's feelings.
If you are not blaming her, what is the point of your post?

What are you wanting to discuss or debate here?
I don't understand the purpose of this thread. "Isn't it a pity she..." definitely suggests she could have done better, in some way suggesting she's let down all the other women. If that's not what you meant to say, what did you mean?

/// Yes you are. Every post has devoted more space to her than to the criminal. Please stop it. ///

That is because others have chosen to attack me over a few words that I have said and those attacks are focused on the victim rather than the criminal.

But please don't you dare tell me to stop, I will when my attackers choose to.

But if you want me to focus on this savage, I will do so, you should know that I am not backward when it comes from doing such things.

But it seems very strange for the likes of you to criticise me on such things, seeing that when I do attack these thugs you are all so eager to divert attention away from such savages, with your constant diversions, name calling, abuse, cries of racism etc etc. oh how you don't like certain groups being criticised, no matter what they have done.
I am quite astounded that you are describing those challenging you are being labelled as 'attackers'.

Given the subject of the thread you are showing a shockingly poor sense of proportion.

Okay - so this thread concerns the wording of statement put out by the rape victim, and how her inaction at the time could have lead to other attacks?

If that's the case, then I think we can all agree that in the long run, it's better to come forward as early as possible if you're a victim of a sex crime, than to hold in to the pain.

However, I still don't think that drawing attention to that (her statement) is merited.

The first reaction I would have if this woman was a friend of mine would be to feel sorry for her, having to carry the pain around for so long.

It wouldn't be "You've let him have 14 years to go rape other women".
