I bought a new printer a few months ago after spending hundreds of hours researching it. I originally thought about the Pixma MG3250 because it has great reviews and a good price. However I decided that I'd rather have a printer with separate cartridges for each ink colour (so that when one colour runs out I won't have to replace all of them) and so decided to pay a bit more for that printer's 'big brother', the Pixma MG5350, with which I'm very satisfied.
>>>Can I connect a wireless printer to my desktop too?
Wireless printers don't connect to computers directly. They connect to your router and can then be used by any computer connected to that router (irrespective of whether the computer itself is connected wirelessly or via an ethernet cable).
