Looking to go on holiday this year. Problems - husband has COPD and limited mobility due to spine problem. We've been to Malta three times and loved the history and ancient sites. Looking for somewhere similar re. climate, sites, public transport (don't want to do any "right-side-of-the- road" driving!) and not too hilly. Would really appreciate any suggestions.

I'm a huge fan of Malta, too - what about Menorca? Very small, and the ancient historical sites were quite unexpected. It is "wrong side of the road" but there aren't many roads outside the main towns!

Sardinia?

no shortage of history, and no shortage of buses and trains connecting the main towns.
Cyprus - or Crete......
Amsterdam has great transport system, flat, and a very interesting city. People are very helpful and friendly and most speak English.
How about Mallorca, many flat areas there and the public transport is good. Plenty to see and do.
