.....things are moving quicker than I thought. Went for my first lesson with my instructor and towards the end of the lesson he turns around and says ' I would like you to book your test' pardon WHAT?!?

Don't forget QoM that the waiting time for a test slot can be up to four months depending upon where you live, so even if you apply today it might be some time before you take your test,giving your instructor time to polish up you driving.

I need to wait to get paid first but all being well I might go for it. There is a 6 week waiting list here Paddy so I'm looking towards the end of Feb/ start of March he said. I just feels odd that I'm finally getting somewhere it's only taken me so long lol

Yes...when I started taking lessons my instructor told me to put in for test after about 4 weeks. I put in for my test the end of November and passed in February.

Jolly - nothing wrong with my peepers had all the tests done and everybody is happy :).

I'm going out driving with my friend tomorrow aswell so can see how that goes aswell

I learnt to drive about this time of year, though I don't like to think how long ago, and the nice thing was by the time I took my test I driven through that much bad weather rain,snow you name it never bothered me. Good luck Queenie and keep us posted.
