Please can someone tell me in what way google chrome is better than normal google?

I use Internet explorer and before I even think of changing to google chrome I wanted to know in what way is it better, please?

I have no idea.
If you are happy with IE then stick with it.

I changed to Google Chrome 6 or 7 years ago........I cannot remember why and have had no trouble.

However, what i did notice was......how quick it was compared to IE.

cupid, it's not a permanent decision. You can have as many browsers on your system as you like and use them however often you like.

If you fancy it, why not download it, give it a go and then make your own mind up about it?

I have IE, Chrome and Firefox on my Laptop, just log-on with whichever one I fancy

Google chrome has a more fluid infrastructre and is less complex than IE or Firefox hence quicker. I've used it solely for a while now, it'll take something special to change.

We use IE and Firefox at work, don't like either though nthey are still in Xp mode. Firefox doesn't like Windows 8

I don't consider Windows 8 or 8.1 to be progress. Much preferred XP.

Nothing intuitive anywhere about 8 or 8.1 Firefox didn't like it at all so switched to chrome, just been simpler.

We have lots of test machines with various browsers/OS's/ Office packages etc etc in here, there appears no perfect combo at the minute
