Can someone please explain the iCloud. Why is it that I get an email to say I have logged on to my find my iPhone icon but my husband doesn't get an email notification when he does it on his iPhone or iPad?

You need to go to settings & turn on/off your notifications for which apps you want notifications for. The icloud is storage space but not using space on your device. So for example I have an ipad2 with 16gb memory. The operating system IOS 8.2 takes up 6gb memory leaving only 10gb so in order for me to store files such as photos etc. So I use iCloud which gives you 5gb free making my memory capacity 15gb. I have now put all my music into itunes match which is different to itunes. It costs £20 per year. All your music is not stored on your device but you still have access to all downloaded music and CDs you have added yourself on all your Apple devices. (I have 3 devices). Hope that helps. I only learnt all that on the last update.

Typo 'iTunes Match is different to icloud' gives you even more space as you don't need to store music
