Is it at all possible for Copied text to be pasted onto the page in a slightly different colour or font?

onto a page of what? If you've got Word or something, you should be able to change its colour.

Not onto AB, though, the days of colour printing are long gone. We used to get some very pretty pages.

It would help- it would look okay in italics but I find that facility awkward to use

That's exactly what it is, Eccles. I lose the will to live on some threads with the ott C&P I have even looked at some of my own posts containing C&p and thought...
