I cannot say that I am really to tempted to watch by the line-up. Any thoughts?

Saw Les Dennis in Hairspray a couple of years ago and he was very much put towards the back of the group during the dances as he could hardly move so intrigued what he will achieve in this. Don’t know half of them but then I never do, just enjoy getting to know them as it goes along. Just very enjoyable escapism for me

Ye gods, what an unappetising bunch, most of whom I've never heard of
I gave ip on Strictly several years ago. Samey, loud, prone to hysteria, and more like gymnastics half the time. Sometimes I don't even recognise the dances they're supposed to be doing.
Can honestly say I have never watched it. I understand Angela Rippon will be attempting the Tango so I probably will try to tune in to watch that. My favourite dance to watch and I reckon she could carry it off well.
Retro, Angela is a classically trained ballet dancer. She'll carry it off.
I just enjoy the show, the line-up doesn't bother me.
Naomi,
That was my train of thought. :-) Seems like an unfair edge though when you see Annabel Croft is also competing.
It does, Retro, but then I suppose the same could be said for those who enjoy dancing competing with those in possession of two left feet. :o)
Going the same way as Celebrity Masterchef, bottom of the barrel being scraped.
I'm not sure I'm tempted by the line up. But it's generally good fun to watch whether or not you are familiar with the contestants.
I gave up when the shouting ad general kerfuffle from the audience got too much for me. The contestants seem to be mostly has-beens and wannabees so other than Angela Rippon they dont appel to me

I am sure that there will be some here who still enjoy/watch the series but it no longer floats my boat. The BBC are looking very disparate and even desperate with their line up.

LiK, I used to enjoy it too, (and Strictly) but as Naomi said in her first response it has become too samey ;)
I'll be watching, I don't care who is dancing though within a few weeks I will have a favourite, my last two favourites won the trophy!
Who cares? Past it’s sell by date, so false with all those grinning dancers who all “love” each other … and the audience screaming whooping and shouting!

One thing is for sure - Strictly got a good share of 10 years anniversary of Gogglebox on E4 last night. The programme showed some good clips and all the families enjoyed watching Rose and Giovanni, not a dry eye in the house! It was nice to see again those family members who sadly have died. Just goes to show how we can all age in 10 years, some for the better. From hair dye to natural greys.

As far as Strictly is concerned I hope that those who continue to watch will enjoy the new season, I just won't be among you ;)
I missed that Gogglebox anniversary program. Why on earth was it on e4...instead of c4?
Considering the lumbering lump that one last year's, I reckon they've all got a chance!
