I wasn't expecting any particular reply but I would say that for the meeting,should it occur,to be a success would not be helpful to broach the subject as to how he can 'assist' in his community.It would risk alienation and be self-defeating.

Nobody would be asking him to assist in any way had the unnecessary piece not have been published.
