Monday. Another week begins for the workers. The downside of being retired is you don't get a day off!
I'm Sure there's something I'm supposed to be doing today, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. No doubt I'll get an irate phone call later. :o}
Oh well. have a happy day everyone.

Lol Boaty, if it weren't for Mrs Oz I'd have no idea what's supposed to be happening.
But, the chance to do my own thing is nice.

How's U and your foot?
Good morning all.
Question Author
G'day mate. It would be nice to what planet it is! ;o}

I'm fine thanks...well, as fine as I'm going to be! The foot is a lot better, I still know it's there, if you get my drift, but it's not causing any bother now thanks. Might use getting some more of those tablets as an excuse to go and see the gorgeous one again! :o}

Noticed yesterday that down pipe hopper was overflowing, so between rain thought I would get it sorted, rodded down pipe and flushed all good. Just re assembling and heavens opened got soaked.
Question Author

Yes I just hate throwing stuff away that I can repair.

I am fortunate that I have reasonable amount of dry storage, so a fair amount of wood and with circular saw, planer and router I can pretty much fabricate most things. Shame our local tip has now changed from heaps to drop in compactor bins. Used to come away with more than I took lol. Still get a few bits if I see it before person bins it.
Question Author
Excellent tony. Our local tip is a good source of of bits and pieces too.
Better than it going to land fill IMO. Although local concil
do shred and compost the green waste, and do a special collection for Christmas trees with one of the shredders that tree surgeons use.
Question Author
I agree. Our lazy lot ask for them to be taken to the tip.
Well it's good PR for council, Re Christmas Trees it's a pain if you have to put them in car, even with dust sheet pine needles ever where. Whenever I think of Christmas trees always remember my BIL with his Issetta bubble car and Christmas tree sticking through sun roof.
