If he was to win would it be considered the greatest comeback since Lazarus rose from the grave?

Quote:
Mo Brooks, a Republican representative in Alabama and once a strong supporter of Mr Trump, said it would be a "bad mistake" for the party if the former president was their nominee in 2024.

"Donald Trump has proven himself to be dishonest, disloyal, incompetent, crude and a lot of other things that alienate so many independents and Republicans. Even a candidate who campaigns from his basement can beat him," Mr Brooks told AL.com.

With 'friends' like that, who needs enemies? The chances of Trump getting the Republic party nomination again would seem to be very slim indeed!
His big campaign donors are also withdrawing their support.

He's history. How pathetic though that it took a bad set of midterm results to cause all these former enablers to grow a spine and do what they should have done at least two years ago and abandon him.

He'll lose.

He'll claim he won.

Thousands of his followers will believe him.

Here we go again.
The same Donald Trump who, on January 6 2020, sat in his office while his followers stormed the US Capitol.

If the Republican Party thinks it's a good idea to try to put him back in that same office for four whole years ... good luck with that!
He'll lose the nomination, and when he does, what happens then will be interesting. Will he ..

a) Congratulate the winner and give them his full support.
b) Sulk but keep quiet and go away.
c) Rant, rave, and claim the vote was somehow rigged and take it to court.
d) Run as an independent in the election as a revenge to take votes from the Republucabs that rejected him.

All are possible imo except a).
*Republicans*, although I do like the word Republucabs.
So we could have the double whammy of Donald and Boris both running in 2024. That would make for some interesting AB posts from a certain quarter.
From what I've seen of DeSantis, he's little better. Seems to be a complete toerag too.
Trump pulled the pants off the GOP revealing their true identity.
.....and????
He'll be nominated and he'll win. Where do you people get your misinformation from? (rhetorical)
^ brought to you by the same man who predicted a democrat wipeout in the midterms lol

get off your high horse spicerack you're obviously no better informed than anyone else here
Trump is damaged goods, but a lot can happen in two years.
I don't think he'll be nominated.

And Biden could do his party and the country some good if he announced, at a propitious time, that he wasn't looking a second term.
The old order changes, giving was to new.
i am glad that biden won the 2020 election but i do wish he would go away and let someone younger take over
who, Untitled? Perhaps out of politeness, Democrat hopefuls have been backward in coming forward. De Santis is as far-right as Trump, though not so obviously loony; but he's getting all the name recognition so far.
There will be a 'chad' court battle
of the current big hitters i think pete buttigieg would be a better choice than biden or harris jno.
