out for my steps I went through a park which was full of crunchy leaves (which is as good as popping bubble wrap )but on leaving said park I found my shoes covered in doggy do ugh!!!! ,why can't people clear up after their dogs ,
From my experience, when done in leaves, sometimes you just can't find it. Particularly at dusk. The stuff just seems to disappear. I've seen my dog go...maybe 20-30 feet away. I've kept my eye on the 'spot'...and couldn't find it for love or money. So, I apologise to anyone who may have trod in it.
Been there, done that TheDevil. It's probably happened twice in the almost 10 years I've had my dog. Most dog owners are extremely conscientious about picking up.
Of course there are those who don't even bother looking to see what their dogs are doing. Far worse than hanging wrapped poo...though I've never understood doing that.
because they are stupid. I don't so much get cross these days, what is the point. I abhor lateness in people but its also pointless in reprimanding them because many can't seem to see that you are waiting for them to arrive.
Lateness drives me nutty as well. I had a friend who thought nothing of turning up late or not at all, saying ‘I was having such a good time with X I didn’t want to leave.’ Well thanks mate. Never mind me stopping what I was doing in order to meet you and wait like a fool.
This was pre-mobile times.

i had a mate like that, i remember being stood at the bus stop waiting for her to no show, i was bloody angry, but she didn't apologise for not turning up. No mobiles then as you say.
because it's the owners who take them to the park and don't clear up after them, either not noticing their dog is going the toilet, or not worrying about it either way
going on our local park, there are some idiots who don't clear up after their animals, and those that do often leave the doggy poo bags hanging in a tree, what the funicular is that all about
There have been a few dog owners banned from my local park for not clearing up after their dogs. Mine always does his 'business' on the spare ground at the top of my street. He doesn't like to be watched so he hides himself in the long grass where no-one walks, anyway. Very rarely do i have to use the bags i carry with me. Good dog:-)
I am with pasta on this subject of doggy-do. We spent the best part of 2 hours yesterday raking up and bagging the leaves from our lawns, constantly looking out for where the dogs had been. Could hardly find any. When you consider how much rain has fallen there is not a lot of difference between wet leaves and the target parcels :(
On the upside it was much easier to scoop today - very few leaves left on the trees now.
sorry you found some, mally - I agree it is most undesirable.
