Happy birthday Dave!! How lucky to be born on this date!!

Thanks everyone - it was a great day yesterday - after being press-ganged into 'granny drag' to represent the village knit and knatter group, four of us blokes won 'best float' in the parade and a good few pints were bought and sunk.

The only sad part is that I'm no longer a toy-boy - roll on the end of May when gness moves up a year :-)

Garnd Slam for my adopted country - enjoyed the match (albeit nervously for quite a while, until Ireland pulled clear) with some of my best friends and then a thoroughly Irish dinner of bacon and cabbage and a good nip of whsikey.

BTW - did you know that alcohol actually erodes the balance mechanisms in your ears, and that's why you can't walk straight when you've had too many?

But it's OK, because you'll be woken up in the morning by the gangs of tiny men with chisels and pickaxes, who are busy repairing them for you!!!!
