Ive recently had a course of these tablets which has resolved a water retention issue how long does it take for my body to be clear of this drug as I'm having a renal function test

Not sure, carlyon, but I don't think it can be long - I only take them when I need them, so I suspect that the effective ingredient gets wee'd out pretty quickly. It doesn't given any indication on the leaflet in the box, I just checked.

Boxy is correct.....the " half life " of Frusemide is about 2 hours....so it will be easily out of your system in a day.
