Monthly cycle problems

I used to have long drawn out dark periods but for the past few months they are much lighter in colour but very heavy and a shorter time, i'm in my 30's and not overweight/under weight etc. Any ideas...

Why did the smoking ban kill pubs?

I've heard this said over and over again, but why? Surely people having to go outside to smoke hasnt stopped them going out and meeting friends in pubs. What do smokers do now for social interaction?
