Over the last couple of weeks there have been a few users complaining about certain editorial decisions and others demanding to know the names of user moderators. This is becoming rather tiresome so I thought I would address these issues here.
As always, I will start with a phrase that I so often find myself repeating.
"All editorial decisions are final. The editorial team will not enter into discussion concerning the decisions they make".
The large majority of AnswerBank users understand this, which we at AB Towers are extremely grateful for. There are some people, however, who think they are above the system we have in place and continually question user suspensions and post removal (often their own). When these folk are told not to complain we begin to see swathes of posts that go something like this:
"I didn't even do anything!"
"My post was fine, I said nothing wrong!"
"Am I not allowed an opinion? What about my rights?!"
"Stop keeping me down, maaaaaaan."
This is usually interspersed with pseudo-babble about the theory of the separation of powers and quotes like "Who will watch the watchers?". I start to get the impression that some of you are nurturing the idea of a great political struggle with the Eds. Although this notion must seem quite charming and Winston Smith-esque to you, I would like to say that the editorial team view it differently.
yes he has in 1994, that's when I first saw him, on TV I could never have gone to his shows then with 3 small kids at home, missed it all, but I have a T shirt from the 1994 tour, he played wembley and birmingham and aberdeen and glasgow
that's when he was on The Big Breakfast on the bed with paula Yates and she was ignorant and insulting and he got abit snappy with her. she did the same to alan jackson a few weeks later .
As I mentioned on another thread, I couldn't care a less who the mod's are. I never take AB too seriously, or rock the boat & have never been banned. More important things in life to deal with!
