Good Day Everyone!

These rules: http://www.theanswerb.../Question1006509.html

Still apply. It seemed to work last weekend although you may blame the sunshine (moonlight, boogie etc) for the reasonably quiet friday night...

Remember, be naughty this weekend and you'll be suspended.

The process from then on:

* Reviewed on Monday by editorial team
* Results in:
1>> 1 week suspension if the suspension was correct
2>> Reinstatement for those suspended "in error"
* Returning with another name during a suspension will see you excluded.
* Users will be reinstated the following Monday all going well.

Apologies to the majority of users who are, naturally, excellent to each other.

Also: Please, if you have any more suggestions for this: http://www.theanswerb.../Question1005647.html please air them soon!

earlier he posted to say he would post a video of his aerial that he had put up.
he then posted the vid, on a new thread.
he never got enough interest, so he posted a new thread complaining his aerial vid did not get the reception it deserved.
he then posted a thread saying sandyroes crap thread about nothing got 20 replies and his super smashing thread was ignored.

I thought doc was a big boy, Puss posted a thread last night that made me change my mind.
well said, Michael. it was painful to see those threads. we've all posted a thread that hasn't had much interest, but we don't all follow it up with several "it's not fair" threads.
And then blame me!!!!
LOL, I've had some which have had no answer at all - I might sit here and go "humph, waste of a post, I thought they'd be interested" - but I wouldn't bother banging on about it.
Mick...that is Doc....we all have differing personalities on here and some "prats" get suspended whist other more surreptitious "prats" get away with it.

Difficult job for Ed and team as there are some subversive and clever ABers.

Just watch when someone allegedly "flounces", all the adversaries come out with many untrue and objectionable comments..............few if any get reported and even less suspended, because the "flouncer" is deemed to be an object of collective adversarial mirth.
my comment is not just about suspensions last night, other abers have been the focus of sarcasm, and rudeness, which seems to be missed or ignored.
perhaps this is a generational issue then, lol ;o)
thats because theyve flounced and said something completely cretinous like "i'm never coming back"
that is mirth worthy isn't it?
sara.....
>>>>perhaps this is a generational issue then, lol ;o)>>>>>

Maybe......but WHICH generation?

Bednobs

<<<<<thats because theyve flounced and said something completely cretinous like "i'm never coming back"

Maybe, but that is not always the case.
Sqad, it seems clear to me that the issue is with the older generation here.

way too demanding!
sara....would you like me to name names of suspensions that have NOT been of the older generation?
I thought my thread about a love rat footballer and the girl whos heart he had broken was the thread of the week.
" older generation " ?
sqad - i can only think of 1 ab'er who flounced and didn't come back (unless you count a brief interlude before flouncing again)
Answerbank is sometimes like the Serengeti,
Scar thought he could boss the hyenas, but they can only stand for so much Sugar. ;0)
not really Sqad, just giving my views.

but please don't think I'm stifling your freedom of speech. you do as you please.
anne....there are only two groups to many people, the influential and innovative modern generation and the second is the "older generation" (rose coloured spectacle wearers etc)

bednobs....I agree, I can only think of one, but "flouncing" was just an example of my comments on the topic of suspensions and reasons thereof.
I found the thread was another example of attention seeking. It gained a few supportive comments that the OP wanted to hear/read and created a bad atmosphere. I very rarely jump in and take sides (because I'm sensible like that :p ) but I found it to be unfair.

Some people need to learn how to accept that their personal interests and opinions are just that... personal.
a truly magnificent thread sandy, deserved far more than 23 replies.
you should start a new thread and complain about the apathetic attitude of ABers towards the real issues facing Britains vulnerable slappers.
