..as long as he's not the one with the antlers, that's chuck's prerogative.

Perhaps the Ed doesn't knows what is really meant by a Maypole. It's possible he thinks its a poll for the month of May and can't think of one.!!

It's May Day Bank Holiday tomorrow, so there is still time for the flags to be dropped and a more suitable icon to be hoisted; such as:-

boxtops....I am really surprised that AB Editorial has not responded to your reasonable question. Consequently, I comment as follows:-

Ed......You raised 'standards' for the Royal Wedding but your staff now appears to be 'flagging' in its duties. Although there is still time to alter the position which prevails.:-)

Ron.
Hi Ed.....It seems that the response to our request for a maypole has resulted in a single Union Flag being displayed as a replacement for the two which were on display for the Royal occasion. Is this a result of AB's Server being based in the USA and folk there do not know what a Maypole is.?

Ron
Probably more as a result of the Ed being able to do what the heck he likes with his own website.
I beg to differ -folks in the US do know what a maypole is.....and-I came across an article the other day from a local Californian town where they had just attempted a Guinness record for number of maypoles danced around.....or something like that...lol
C- A- S. I acknowledge that the Ed can do what he likes with his website but perhaps sometimes he wishes that he had fully capable people on duty when he is off for the weekend.!!

pastafreak....I wasn't really knocking the yanks....just Editorial entities.!!

Ron
I know ron....I just wanted to post some trivia I'd come across x
Hi PF......Tremendous Trivia.♥♥♥

paddywak...I acknowledge that this is boxtops thread and perhaps I am commenting too much. Nevertheless, I can't resist saying that you have posted an interesting 'link'. It's so nice to see continuing old traditions of a pleasant nature.

I don't mind a spot of digression, it's all on the same theme. Not sure what's happening with today's flag - now you see me, now you don't.....
The Maypole is waiting for the June Bug to climb it.
Hi boxtops...If we keep attacking the Ed long enough about his fading flag, he may hoist a white one.:-)
