I have spent approximately £5 a week. I reckon I have spent nearly £4000 in 16 years. Out of that I have won in total nearly £800 .Have had better luck on the Irish lottery.

I never add up all the money I have wasted as I dont want to think about the past. I do it thinking that one day I will be lucky. Last week I won the princely sum of £2.50!
never won anything but then never bought a ticket. can't be bothered. don't know why. expect someone has a theory.

This is the first time I have added up just came into my head and I bet the £ 2 50 was on the new plus 5 I had that 2 weeks ago took me ages to collect it lol.
Wendilla you are spot on. It was on the plus five. I won £25 on plus five, then this!
No idea Wendilla, but I know I have spent a lot. I've been doing it online for about 5 years as well.
Not a penny!

I've had some Premium bonds from the first issue, and have won 2 very small "prizes!

The chances on the lottery are even less than Premium bonds, so I'm obviously unlucky!
Personally.....about £20

OH - 3 lines on Wed, Fri & Sat....
Absolutely loads!! :( Won £10 the other week, though :) Every cloud........
On the Lottery draw ... maybe £5 ?

I doubt if I've bought a ticket any more than five times.

On scratch cards ... maybe £200 ?

We used to go to the pub and buy strips of 20 cards on the way ... working on the basis that getting 20 consecutive cards with no winner at all was quite unlikely. It worked, up to a point. We always won something.
I see they are going to do another Euromillions draw on Tuesdays now ! but I think once a week is my limit, I spend £8 already [ £4 on Nat Lottery on Wed & Sat].the most I have ever won is £47and the odd tenner.

I refuse to gamble, I have never been a gullible person, generally speaking. So no, I havnt wasted a penny. :-)
Less than £20, I reckon.

I have my very first lottery ticket when it first started. I keep to the same numbers every week and on the irish lottery the 3 numbers have come up 4 times so I have cut down on the national and put the extra on the irish. As the old saying goes you got to be in it to win it but yes I know some people have never won anything that's why I like to keep my same numbers. I don't do the Euro or the thunderball.
I have entered since the very beginning and have only won very small amounts - never anything more than £25. I would have money in the bank if I had saved it instead of chucking it away. I have also got Premium Bonds and have never won a penny on those. Might as well cash them in except I am too lazy. At the moment I am buying lotto tickets for Wednesday and Saturday and one Euromillions. That's £4 a week being thrown away. I don't have regular numbers but always have lucky dips. So far the lucky part of it is non-existent.
I won £67 on the very first game and £80+ a few weeks ago. I've paid in more than a thousand, though.
One lucky winner last night, just the £4,607,457. Incidentally, for those of you trying to work out what you've spent that was draw number 1604. My seven syndicate colleagues and I have therefore 'invested' £12,832 since 19/11/1994. Our winnings to date....the magnificent sum of £4873. Oh dear.....
