more of a whinge really - there was a very flippant remark on one thread about the poor student who was killed by a polar bear. The remark was unnecessary and very off hand - I found it offensive but chose not to report it.

I wasn't in it but I watched, DT made a comment which was obviously inappropriate to some but was also clearly meant to be a quip without much aforethought. He was made to feel bad about it at the time and I'm sure he felt some regret. That should have been the end of it so why it has been raked up I don't understand.

I've just had a quick look at last night's MOFC and the 'offensive post' - I wasn't offended about it but did feel bad that the whole evening seemed to be ruined for the other regular posters.

I agree with Cazz. If it was such a comment that you found it offensive the option is there to report. If you chose not to report best thing to do is forget about it and not rehash the whole thing.
