Do you always take a handful to make sure you can put one on all your jackets, and not be "caught short" during the week? Apparently this is common practice according to the poppy lady I saw on the weekend.
Seems a thoroughly sensible idea.

There are in the region of 200,000 charities registered in England and Wales. If my maths are correct....10p to each would amount to £20,000.
Consequently, I am very very selective.

I have a sparkly poppy which I wear. I bought it from the British legion website. I do buy paper poppies but as I live in sweatshirts, I find it difficult to actually wear them hence, in part, the sparkly one as it has a good brooch pin with a safety catch. and yes, different choices don't make people better or worse....just different views.
