Back Arrows.

Ed,is this still a problem ?
I found out,thanks to an AB member that I am on IE9.
There seems to be no change,at all,in my system.

the back arrows don't work for me on AB - haven't for quite a while now - I haven't upgraded to IE9

I has been working for me but I've just tried again and it didn't work. As a workaround try right clicking on the back arrow and this lets you choose which page tyou want to go back to

Thanks factor.I have already been doing this,for the last few days.
I was asking,if there might be a solution to this,or will this format become the
normal procedure,in the future.

I've just found a 'Go Back' button above the autumn leaves logo. Is this new or have I just not noticed it before?

I've just realised that if I right-click anywhere on the page (that isn't already a link) I get a list of options, starting with Back.

This happens on any website so I suppose it's been there forever and I've never noticed.

Has it been proved conclusively that Answerbank software is not the cause? For me it only happens with this site. If you press the down button in the LH top corner is shows 'advertisement' which stops a return to the previous page and shouldn't be there.

So who is responsible for putting 'advertisent' there. If if it Answerbank software then they should revert to a previous working copy.

I suspect if you have ad blocking software the probblem may go away. Anyone tried ?

Oh and yes I still have references to 'Advertisement' in my recent 'back' history list.

no idea, SlackAlice. I suppose it just came via the usual route: I opened Firefox and it announced it had a new version ready for download, and I clicked on it.
