Ed..... I know that I have been accused of trying to sabotage the awards scheme which has been introduced; when I am merely pointing out its failings.

This evening I noted that a new member (15:58 Wed 15th Aug 2012) has been given credit for a 'Best Answer'. However, there is no way that I am able to establish what he said to be listed accordingly. Admittedly, I have Not checked-out all of the 88 answers which he has given but would have thought that a click of 'Best' in his Profile would have revealed that for which I was looking.

it has just been revealed in another thread that two members have the fast-draw badge for first/best answer .. however, their profiles indicate no best answers.

one wonders if the badge system is entirely accurate.

I did suggest in another thread that the whole system for awards needs to be re-programmed as it's a computer which is producing results which are not accurate. However the responses I got were suggestions that I 'Shut-up'; ' Go elsewhere from AB'; Etc, Etc.

Yes sir.prize. I noticed cran275 asked 200+ crossword questions and gave only 2 answers (which were not really answers but posts chasing up answers to his own question)- yet he got a badge for a fast response after responding first to his own question!

Actually cran275 asked 570 questions and 2 answers. Silly isn't it?

I did not tell you to shut up, I told (asked?) you to stop whining, that's obviously working well....

And I did not tell you to go elsewhere, I said if this place made you so unhappy, then elsewhere might be a better option.
