Moving Categories About
65 Answers
Morning.
I'm going to move some categories about today.
Firstly I'd like to put either: Ed's blog within Suggestions, or Suggestions within Ed's blog.
Which way round should it be?
Any other movement suggestions welcome.

Suggestions in to blog but why don't you call it Ed's Corner (or some such thing) with blog and suggestions as sub cats so new people will know this is the general area for editorial team. Otherwise people wouldn't necessarily think blog would be part of a suggestions area and vice versa.

Current Affairs and Politics could go - all that stuff goes into News anyway.
The real problem is that people don't know that subcategories exist. You can see them by clicking on Topics - but why would anyone click on Topics? So my instinct would be to keep blog & suggs separate unless you want to lose most of the passing trade for one of them.

Call it "Ed's Gnomeland" - better verbally, "Ed's Homeland" with a gnome slant.
Is there any benefit in getting rid of the following topics/sub-topics?
• “share dealing”
• merge “pets” into “animals and nature” ie not as a separate sub-section
• “eating out”
• “drinks”
• “myths and legends”
• “career advice”
and add a special “Spam” section into “Shopping”
