Hi ED,
Just checked my badges. One I have not yet earned ,but is shown, is 5 years membership. Not shown is one for 500 beat answers.

I've suddenly gained 5 more badges, none of which are applicable. Can I give them to someone who is more needy than me?

I must say I was a bit taken aback at having a 'peeping tit' badge. I thought it might be for my net curtain twitching but apparently it's for 20+ in birdwatching.

indeed, boxtops, I have just looked at the record of ATOB2, who was a member for one day when AB started in 2000; ABers like andy-hughes busied themselves asking each other random questions to try to drum up interest. He asked 159 in a day, one of which got 10 answers, the rest less.

For his one day's work he's got a 5-year membership badge and a marathon starter badge.

Curious.

Maybe Ed is having trouble with the Best Answers badges as he knows the people who awarded them to themselves.

Ed, those new badges that have been processed overnight, it's given me 3 I haven't earned and the one I have earned, the gold one for genealogy, has still not turned up.
