Aargh Ed - I'm Getting Silverdisc Log-In Requests Now

Dear Ed - Silverdisc's at it again. I've just gone to make two responses, and each time I press submit, a screen pops up asking for my Silverdisc log-in and password. I just hit Close and it goes away, but what is it? Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon? Silverdisc's not good news at the moment.

(Plus, I can still see an advert under latest posts, and under topics, but the pesky one at the top is still gone...)

No, the pop up box is gone - but the advert is still there. Don't know if it's supposed to be.

My pop-up's gone, but I've now got a full set of adverts, including the one beside Best Answer, and that wretched banner at the top still has the wheel going round and round and round - again.

This site was better without the adverts. A click produced the place that I wanted, and instantly! But now, it's terribly slow. I'm seeing (at bottom left-hand corner) when I click on something: waiting for... downloading... waiting for about blank... done... (when it isn't).

I am quite happy with the ads ed. In fact I have bought from them but only a couple of times. But then, I realise the ads pay for the site and without them there would be no site - and I wouldn't like that.

I think jno had a problem with silverdisc, I only see it at the bottom of my page when it is loading, doesn't seem to have affected me at all.
