I know you've done a few alterations lately Best Answer & Badges but I've noticed you've taken a Badge away from me, that hurts, can I ask why?
Have I been naughty? what is it I've done?

What do I have to do to earn it back again? (sniff)

At least this proves a few people look at their badge counts. I know it's meant to be a bit of fun and give an indication of which posters are seen as possible 'authorities' in certain topics, but it seems to me to be more trouble than it's worth

ff I don't know about entitlement all I know is I've had thirteen badges for weeks and weeks, I sign in today and I notice I now have twelve.
I hope Ed will come up with an explanation... (sniff)

If you read his thread (See Ed's blog) he has said that they have tried to correct the anomalies (where everyone had been given certain badges such as 5 years' service, 10 years and one other I've forgotten). I'm syure yours is explained by that.

I think Ed has quite a few issues he's looking at so I'm not sure he'll respond personally to yours but you never know

Not particularly, hence why I didn't make a post about it, but if it bothers/worries, or even just pricks her curiousity Jem is entitled to ask about it isnt she?

I hardly ever check my badges. The last time I checked I had 10 year service or something like that and I've only been on AB since 2006.

The 10 year badge issue has been mentioned so many times, but clearly not everyone is aware that Ed has been aware of the issue.

If it was up to me I'd just get rid of the 10 years' service badge altogether until it's working or at least put a note next to it making it clear it may be wrong)
