Since yesterday a bar has been popping up on the bottom of my screen saying:

‘Only secure content is displayed’, with buttons marked ‘What’s the risk?’ and ‘Display all content’.

It’s only happening on AnswerBank. What’s that all about?

Can't help thinking that whenever changes are made to the site, funny things happen.

Certainly makes me laugh.

It's not the changes we made, it's likely to be an advertiser who is displaying their ad on a "secure" page (https) rather than the current standard of http. This is confusing the browser a bit. We do try and stop them doing this, but it is trick when there's so many to rein in - it is a nuisance rather than a danger for the most part.

Are you still getting it today?

Ha ha! Me too. :o)

Anyway, thanks Ed. I'm not a technical genius, so thought I ought to say something about it. Yes, still getting it, but as long as it's not sinister I'm not bothered.

So what are Google going to do with all this information?

Have you checked it out to prove. it's google adverts, or just answering on principle?

IMO it's the facebook/twitter/google+ like buttons that are just above the latest posts (when you have no adblocker)
