Ed, I've noticed a difference with this site after 12. am. Is there some updating or something going on in the very late/early hours with this site? Example the 'latest post' box updates differently, my post takes longer to submit.

I know I am not imagining things.

No it doesn't & yes you are.

I would click on latest post and all the posts in the box would show as posted '0 mins. ago'.

Then I click again on latest posts and it would show various times for each posts.

But, if I click on a 'topic' on the left side of the page I believe I then get the correct times of the posts intervals.

This only happens for me after 12 am.
they do do tweaking around midnight but they usually issue warnings. Maybe this is just a techie who's spilt his coffee on a keyboard

Thanks Jno. I know there's something strange or unusual that happens.
LP always shows "1 min ago"..."3 mins ago" for me - I'm using Firefox - what browser are you using society?

(Your answer may be of some use to the Ed in the morning)
I see it too society - it seems to happen in a period of low activity, all the timings go back a few minutes and then come current again when you click on one.
Welcome to the twilight zone Society. Or should that be the twiglet zone?!
Have you been feeding the site after midnight?
Question Author
@ Ed - I only feed my stomach :)

@ LIK - Firefox, Chrome, Opera

@ Shoota - Glad you on board to attest my suspicions

@ Spoony - No twilight zone but a zone bar :)

Ed, strange thing, I didn't notice it happening tonight. Interesting...
I think the site switches to the World Service at midnight. We certainly get a lot of foreign news, particularly from India, in the early hours! Any chance of giving us the national anthem at around midnight Ed ? We don't need the shipping forecast though
