Slow Loading Of Questions Answered

A couple of weeks ago someone asked if others were finding the questions answered tab in your profile slow to load, the answer as a resounding yes.

I'm still having the same problem on my iPad using Safari, not sure how it is on my laptop.

Are others still having the problem?

I don't ever look at that tab, why would you? If I want to follow a thread, I subscribe to it.

I use that tab often. I like to pop back to questions I've answered, when I've been away and come back.
I have noticed that it's been very slow to respond over the last few weeks.

Although I check my profile many times each day, I've never clicked on 'Answered'. (I always use 'Threads involving me'). I've just tried it and have given up waiting for it to load!

I don't subscribe to threads as my AB email address isn't linked into Outlook, and I get enough emails as it is.

I do like to pop back to threads to see if there have been any new answers added and thought I'd mention that things don't seem to have improved since the last time it was raised.

As I've (sort of) suggested above, try using 'Threads involving me' instead of 'Answered'. It seems to be quicker and (unless you've been asking lots of questions recently) it will show the same information anyway.

One second at the most for me to load 'Answered' on my desktop... HP Pavilion, Windows Vista, Firefox.

I am being 100% honest and have just checked out 'Answered' with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari. Result as above^^ with Firefox.

It's just taken around 22 seconds to load for me, with Firefox indicating that it was waiting for AB's server to respond.

With me it seems to stick. If I reload it loads quickly the second time. It can't be anything to do with the number of questions because questions viewed loads much more quickly although there are more of them.

Must say that I find it all rather strange. Could it have anything to do with one's ISP. I am with BT.
