Ed, what the funks going on with AB, been unable to get on site for ages, every other site I visit is OK, as soon as I open AB I get that well know fake Java Update that won't let me do anything other than close down to get rid of it.
Running IE + latest windows (11 I think).

Reinstalled Chrome, don't really like it but needs must, all other sites are OK. first look at AB and Java was back again, Have had to install another ab to get on here at all.

Again this is a problem only on AB, Why?

Same here Baldric, having to use the iPad.
I know it won't make you feel any better but it has been a problem on other sites too - I have no solution I'm afraid.

Hope it soon gets sorted.

Hi guys, I've only been getting it on AB, Chrome's ab seems to have sorted it for now.
ok on my pc but the laptop just wants to advertise java, so missing out on AB , if fellow ABers are not on AB then the other advertisers must be losng out.
im being told to exit AB ( MAJOR VIRUS THREAT )
I've had this since yesterday evening, but it seems to have disappeared from my computer for now, (I hope) have just run a full scan.

As I said earlier I read on another board that this is possibly caused by someone attaching malicious virus code to one of the adverts here unbeknown to the admin or the company that submitted the original advert unless the malicious virus code was submitted by the person who placed the advert?

Either way the admin need to find the advert and i'm guessing take the advert down and contact the company to get rid of the virus and do an investigation into where it came from and how it occurred?
The problem does not seem to be occurring on Android, iOS or Mac, so the chances are it is your equipment that is at fault.

There is little that the Ed can do if your PC is infected with malware, you need to sort it out yourself.

This might be useful...

Of course that's okay bathsheba :)
touch , this coming from IE, but Chrome may have been cured......slow though but at least one can use it.

Looks like the US screwdrivers may have gone to work!
I think it's strange that there's been no Answerbank postings on Facebook for weeks... Do you think the Management have done a runner?

good luck minty....I know it's not supposed to be mentioned,......but I hope you've got AdBlock ;)
