I posted a question in Home and Garden about a Soup Maker was told it should be in Food and Drink but a Soup Maker is a home appliance! If Answerbankers just want to give a negative reply why do they bother, I usually do my best to post in the appropriate category can I be forgiven!!

I wouldn't worry about it,folk were likely redirecting you in the hope you got more replies.

I've always fancied a soup maker too.
Carib, just ignore them
I would not lose any sleep about it Caribeing,as long as you received some helpful answers!
I think it could go in either category and some others too. To be fair someone only suggested that you could ask Ed to move it rather than told you where it should be. I think they were trying to be helpful.
Almost 50 minutes had gone by and you had recieved no answers. TonyV never meant anything by it.
I'm sure the comments are not meant to be negative. I may look at food and drink because I love to cook, but I have no interest in gardens, for example, as I don't have one. You are more likely to get a more expert opinion on a matter by having it in the category that those experts have interest in.
Hi Caribeing,

I think it works where it is and you did get some great replies, which I hope you found helpful :-)

If you are worried about this sort of thing in the future then use the report function to bring it to our attention and we can get the thread moved.
