Why is it that recently only the headline of my threads are showing, followed by three dots?

One has to open the thread to view the rest of the text.

It's because the first part of your main message is a link.

I figured the link was considered a single thing and too long to display in it's entirety.

Actually, scrap that reason, it can't be that because there are other messages that start with a link that are showing a preview.

Because you have posted a long link after the title.

AB shortens the intro paragraph after a certain number of characters. After that it uses ... To indicate the sentence continues.

But the link looks like one very long word, and AB cannot split a link.

In future, do your link after an intro sentence.
