I complained a few weeks ago about too many ads on AB. I suppose its something you have to put up with. However, when i log in and there are ads on the screen this seems to corrupt the middle column containing the list of questions/answers. it looks like a patchwork which is very irritating. the patchwork rectangles appear to be the same size ads in the ads columns. i get rid of it buy clicking randomly around the screen til the screen is normal? Anyone got a solution to this

What Browser do you use IE?

I'm using Chrome and have no problems
I've never seen that kind of behaviour johnny - what are you using to access ab (browser/system please)?
All sorts of problems wth IE but I now use firefox and all's ok.
Using my tablet and getting all sorts of problems with 1bida.
Needs sorting ASAP please, the usual virus warnings etc.
Chilldoubt, how does that appear?
I had a corrupt screen earlier on. this was on my kindle and it led me to the app store. It has not happened since and may not even have anything to do with AB, just the similarities were there.
It happened again when i click on your Christmas post in AB.
Just pops up randomly Ed. If clicked on, it goes straitght to an anti virus programme in the Play Store.

still happening today. Have the ads popups been going for long? I think it may have started at the same time. Clicked on the rogue patches in the q/a column which seemed to work and they were deleted. its not right though is it. i use google chrome which is no prob on any other sites.
You could try resetting the Chrome browser to default settings to see if that makes a difference. See:- https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en-GB
I often get a message 'answerbank.co.uk not responding' and have to restart
