On the new site, could we have an 'edit' button please?

I had no specific sites in mind. I've never been on a site where it was an obvious issue so I take it that's the normal default. Maybe some don't vet those who sign up ?

I suggested similar when the Ed was asking for ideas months ago.

I said that we should have the name of the poster, on the right hand side next to the Topic Q, so if the person gets on your bits, you can just ignore them!

I agree we all differ in our SOH , which is fine amongst your pals or family, you know how far to go - with strangers you don't have that advantage.

An edit button is a bad idea. Once it's gone it's gone. A bit more care before we submit is a far better idea
Maybe a counter from 1 to 10 before we can press submit :-)
