There is no-one more reactionary or Luddite than me, yet after a few minutes finding where everything was I have no problems with the new site.

Well, this is a sort of answer(bear with me).
I think it's much better than the old site.However,being new I have only used the new site,BUT I have been reading AB for about 2 years before taking the plunge.Being 70, and having poor eyesight,the new site is much better for me;of course this is being completely selfish.
