Mamy,,,,thanks but the mud is still somewhat on the thick side !
Another test:
:)
Hmmm

Let's try the youtu.be version:
https://youtu.be/uP9ShgxE2_A
and the 'Embed' one:
I'll try to be simpler - some work some don't.

It may be contractual or simple incompatibility - just try to find a different video.

I still say - Barbie.
Well I didn't really expect that one to work anyway!
ah, a bit more upmarket than my effort, canary, thank you.
My own effort based on correct 'youtube' URL, just C&P of that rather than embed:
...and using the embed version:
https://youtu.be/2TSUQf0i36Y
Interesting!
All those tube links work for me except [email protected]. [email protected] and [email protected]. You do have to let the videos load and some tube links just will not paste regardless of the url. It was ever thus on the old site as well. Copyright is an issue with BBC links and some artistes are very tetchy about free downloads. Neil, Young and Bob Dylan being just two of them.
It seems to be the 'Share' function that adds the dot, making 'youtu.be', and which seems to be the problem. Or a problem.
Anax @19.47 posted fine for me.
Anax:
It does seem to be specific videos that can't be embedded (even though they've got 'Share' and 'Embed' offered and they're shown as having a standard Youtube licence).

For example, this link will take you to the Youtube video which I believe Mikey was trying to post:
http://tinyurl.com/j5f9dj7
If you copy the Youtube URl from your address bar and try to post it here I don't think it will work. (It didn't for me).
Let's have a go...
:)
Well, there you go. Tetchy it is then!
