I just sent you an email because AB was freezing on my iPad, this has been happening all morning of and on, but everything else is OK. Now for some inexplicable reason it seems to be working again, it's so frustrating. Do you have ant bright ideas please?

I've been having problems as well. Two ipads neither would fully load answerbank but laptop OK. Left a message on facebook come back and now working. I think I'll become a luddite.
Just realised I got in when I logged into answerbank through facebook and all OK but still doesn't work trying to access direct via Safari.
We'll get back into it again tomorrow. Again, my apologies!
OK, I am back on the hunt. Thanks for sticking with us despite the technical difficulties.
Freezing on my iPad pro and iMac working fine on hp computer running explorer 10
Some research suggest it's a safari problem across all versions it seems. We're looking into it, even if progress is slow.
I'm currently in ASDA and I'm getting gigantic pop up ads in AB from their free wifi (presumably) which are playing havoc with the iPhone
What are they for Ichkeria?! I can block them if i know.
Don't think it is a Safari problem. AB works fine on iPhone and iPod Touch.
And my old iPad running iOS 5 introduced in 2011 is affected by the problem, where it had always worked before.
If I close Safari after a AB freeze, and try to use the Mercury, Opera or Dolphin browsers for iPad, they too won't work, suggesting your code is nobbling the System, not Safari.
Problem solved, ed? AB is working perfectly using Chrome sans Adblock on my iPad at last! Last couple of weeks nothing but freezing but now perfection.
G'afternoon Ed....The problem has returned on Internet Explorer 11 whereby it freezes on my PC and I get a message saying that Answerbank is Not responding. I am then given the option to recover webpage.

As you know my default Browser is Firefox and I can ignore the problem on IE. However, I mention the fact in consideration of ABers who still stick with IE despite it possible being the worst of all Browsers.

My apology if I am causing a confusion when this thread is in respect of iPads and I am Not into so called 'Smart Internet Equipment' which can be very temperamental when compared with Laptops and Desktop PCs.

Hans.
Hi everyone - we're doing a few more experiments here.

Thanks for the feedback Gromit. We've isolated a few of the possible culprits and should see some kind of resolution soon...
I trust when the rogue advertiser is located he will be hung in chains in the dungeons at AB HQ for everyone to line up and throw tomatoes at.

I could sling more that tomatoes- lots of dogs around here :-))
OK, we only have direct ads on at the moment. Lets see how we get on for now.
Oo-er margo!
If you are now only running Direct Ads, what exactly are Indirect ones.?

Hans.
I mean, we're only running Google ads currently, direct from them. Otherwise we run something called "Real time bidding" ads which are much smarter. I thought "direct" might be easier understood as to mean "slightly less clever"!
Ssshhhh but at the moment as I type....seems ok...but I am not holding my breath....I might need it lol.
AB seems to be ok again on my I pad after several days of problems. I'm using Safari without ad block. Hope it's finally sorted
