Today I had the need to ask the Editor to remove a perfectly reasonable thread appertaining to the recent riot taking place on a street in London.

From the off set this thread was high-jacked by certain members who obviously have taken a dislike to not only me personally, but also to the threads that I place on the news section of answerbank.

I did report one of the offenders, but no action against him was taken

The ED or someone else was good enough to remove the thread, but did not take the opportunity to chastise the offending members.

AOG....no! no! no!...you have got it all wrong.......the Ed isn't interested and neither was the one before. I suggested many years ago when AB was again in turmoil, but for different reasons that certain ABers should be banned.....just my opinion. So what happened, the Ed banned the "characters" and made 2or 3 of the "troublemakers" Moderators. Well that...

I will allow you kids to play on your own now, it's all getting rather boring for the more adult mind.

Cheers but don't say I didn't enjoy the experience, because I did and illustrated perhaps to others what a sad lot hangs around AB these days.
Don't be sad, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

With any luck the sun may come out.

AOG - you do have some friends on AB but calling them 'sad' doesn't sound like the adult response.

None of us are perfect, we all have faults - we must at least try to be civil/non-antagonistic to other ABers.
Cheerybye AOG. The more mature mind must be a bit jaded after digging all those holes for itself.
I am at a loss to understand how AOG can dish out posts such as the one at 14.59 and yet bang on ad infintum about these perceived 'personal attacks'.
aog isn't the slightest bit patronising is he?

always nice to know a more adult mind isn't.
Khandro, //(where's naomi?)//

Naomi is just about to attempt to watch the video you linked to. Whatever it says has to be more interesting than the puerile tripe posted by multiple participants on this thread.
mamya; //Khandro, anyone can complain they don't get sufficient replies or the replies they'd like to a thread, that's fair enough.//

I'm not at all complaining that I didn't get enough replies. I'd prefer non at all than those from the bigoted PC brigade, which that thread is all about.
Well, you're not going to get into my 'crew' with that attitude N. and we're having jelly and ice cream later too, so ner near stickybuns.
Fair comment Khandro, hope your thread picks up.
I prefer chelsea buns, but they are sticky.
Anyone fancy a jam doughnut?
I've only got 6 left tho
So scabby kneed child with socks falling down has not only stomped home in a sulk but taken his ball too?
What flavour jelly?
raspberry Mamya :-)
pureed til point of no return cos those little pips annoy my denture plate
Cheers, naomi x
Welcome back naomi - been on hols ?
Eccles, I am really so tempted to make a comment about balls.
please stop tempting me!!!! x
ZM...I think you should now cease posting in this thread because you are turning it into chatterbank claptrap.

You have accused Aog of being prejudiced and if any remarks were prejudiced they were yours at 14.05 today. Since then you have been sarcastic in your postings.

Oops, I must be careful what I say because there is a moderator in this thread who might be an ally of yours..

Hans.
Hans, you can think what you like my friend. My 14.05 post was factual.
Careful is a good watchword, we never know who's looking in.
