The site is working fine on Firefox for me. The change to 'https', from 'http', largely came about because Firefox was throwing up warnings about users' information not being encrypted when they signed in.
I've not seen any other posts suggesting that the switch has created problems for anyone. (If it does, my first suggestion would be to check that the time and date is correctly set on their device. An incorrect setting can result in a security certificate being seen as invalid).
