blue means rejected Danny
I clicked accept all, just for the heck of it, and the blue banner is STILL there.

Downright rude imo.

I am glad for you.

Ahh its an AB thing, first port of call today. I thought it was something else that I'd have a look at in while.
When I type in the answer box, it is directly over "answer now". I have to scroll up to get past it to submit.
I won't even attempt the crossword races with that there :-)

More or less yes.
But obviously halfway up when I am using the phone keyboard...

I don't know why everyone is getting excited over this very small blue label tucked out of the way in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen?
It seems to be more of an issue with mobiles and tablets.

I assume you are ABing on a PC.
On Phones and Tablets the box is intrusive and is covering up where you type or the Answer Now submission button.
Bottom left would be better on mobiles, so it doesn't clash with the answer button.
Just like AB doesn’t want you to use an AdBlocker, it also doesn’t want you turn off cookies either.

The settings panel has been designed to gently persuade users to accept them all. AB has provided 2 buttons, one to turn them all off, and one to accept them all. But if you turn them all off you have to log in each time you come back. If you press the accept all button, the logging in problem goes away. So that is what most people will do, accept them all.
You can toggle every cookie manually, but none us know what the cookie is for so we cannot make an informed decision to accept or deny it.
I don't understand this at all. I have chosen 'reject all' and the buttons are all set to 'off' (blue). I am able to log in and out of AB without being sent back to the 'Privacy settings' box. I have checked several times and the settings have not reverted back to 'accept' status. After checking I have hit the < button on my mac to avoid being asked to log in again. I assure you I am not mistaken - once the setting had been set to 'off 'my experience of logging in and out of the site has not altered.
