i cant understand why after agreeing the privacy settings and saving it ...why the blue box shouldn't just disappear ?

I will suggest again that if it has to stay, could it be moved to the left?

Currently it clashes badly with the Answer Now button.

Completely agree with you, especially that nasty little advert box that means I can't click 'Answer'. I really am fed-up of the palaver I have to go through to get on here every time.

But what about the anoying floating advert that comes back every time you change page.

I've seen the blue box on Pickmypostcode - don't mind the blue box, just that anoying banner advert.

Blue box now at bottom left on ipad, but anoying advert still there.

Fortunately both blue box and advert don't appear if I use my ipad1.
