I am fed-up with having to keep accepting/rejecting cookies each time I visit AB and having to sign in when I haven't logged-out.

The cookie pop-up is a legal obligation for The AnswerBank since the changes to data protection regulations in May. However, once you click "Accept", it should usually stay away, so I'm not sure why you keep seeing it. Something could be interfering with your cookies so your browser keeps forgetting you have already accepted. Are you doing any of the following:
- Using your browser in incognito or private mode
- Regularly clearing your cookies
- Using an ad blocker
Any of these things will interfere with your browser saving cookies and could cause the popup to keep appearing.
Having to sign in when you haven't logged out sounds like a separate issue, but can also be caused by your browser not saving cookies for the above reasons. Do you have the "Remember me on this computer" box ticked when you log in?

G'afternoon Ed....Thanks for having responded to my posting.
You have made me think further on this matter and it is the case that my Firefox Browser has been set 'Do Not Track'. Consequently, it could be the case that such a position is Not being accepted by your Server and efforts are being made to make me open to Targeted Adverts.
Looks as if I am stuck with Limited Privacy. So be it.

I certainly Do Not wish to be tracked. However, there is the problem that a number of sites ignore the request....'Do Not Track'
as honouring the setting is voluntary. :-
