Privacy Acceptance

Why do I get a invitation to accept or see options re a privacy pop up every time I move on Ab i.e go to next page or change topic. I click on accept but it persists . Only does this on I phone. Sure it has happened before. Anything I can do please

It only happens now and then for me. Annoying though.

Is anyone else getting this ‘Privacy Acceptance’ pop up every time you move to another page/category. Beyond a joke. Makes this site almost unusable on Iphone. Can the ed do something or at least give me advice please?

Good morning Retrocop.

This is not something we've been able to replicate at AB Towers. Without experiencing the problem first hand we're unable to look into the issue. The privacy banner is an external widget and is required under GDPR legislation.

Retro, I changed browser because of it, from Google to Firefox, so far so good

I will see if I can change browser on my Iphone. Only just started on that. I have never experienced it before.

I have been getting this for the last 10 days.
Also having trouble signing in.
Thought maybe someone was trying to tell me something,seriously it’s a pain in the bum,

I probably shouldn't say this as I've said it before and it seems to be a no no query - but the permanent privacy banner is only visible on this site (the blue line at bottom of page and no other). Other sites accept and gone so the GDPR reason does appear to be a fob off.

Doesn't happen on my iPhone. If you log out and then log back it a large privacy notice should appear. Maybe you haven't clicked 'Accept' at this stage, hence it asking you every-time you 'move' within AB?

Happens to me every time I click a link in Answerrbank on my iPad if I use Chrome browser, it is fine if I use the Safari browser

It happens randomly. Sometimes the back button gets rid of it.

If anything this will stop me using answerbank so much,
Not just frustrating Bloody annoying,
Surely in this day and age something should be done,
And why is it not happening to everyone?
And I am not talking about the privacy strip
