Ab Posts Dropping Letters/words

Quite often lately I post something on AB only to find a letter missing from a word – or even a whole word from a sentence – and quite often full stops vanish inexplicably too. I called one of the Daves ‘ave’ yesterday – but I didn’t.

Anyone else noticed that?

I often find letters missing but I blame my laptop keyboard; there's nothing wrong with it but, because there is very little movement on the keys compared with my desktop, I tend to hit them more gently and sometimes not hard enough.

i'm an accurate touch typist and letters only seem to disappear when i'm on ab

It happens to me when I use a tablet or phone, but I put it down to my arthritic fingers and hands with less pressure on some fingers nd small keys.

I work mainly from a desktop and compose anything over a line or two in a Word document and then copy and paste it into AB. The missing bits are definitely there when I post - and then they're not.

Hmm I wonder if that is also to me :-)

I thought it was just my bad typing :-)
I love it when AB replaces abbreviated exclamations deemed rude with the expanded version, the offending bit asterisked out ...

I've never noticed this naomi. I type on my lap top.

yes, all the time. for me, it's caused by "long running script lag", where a badly written advert starts to load and locks the page, including keyboard inputs. on occasions the only way of rendering a legible post is to write it offline and then cut 'n paste it. nightmare.
